I went to Clarion my freshman year before transferring to Slippery Rock. When I saw a 1-star rating for IC, I was shocked. The people there were always very kind and welcoming to me. Fr. Monty always had an uplifting message and I appreciated his sense of humor during the mass as well. After mass Fr. Monty always greeted me with excitement and even remembered my name! My last week there, I told Fr. Monty that I would be transferring to SRU. He told me they would always "save a seat for me at Immaculate Conception". Long story short, please give IC a chance! To me, they are a model for everything that a church SHOULD stand for.
I.C. is just downright amazing. Father Monty is so inspiring during every single mass. I have been going there since I was little, and I love it there. Everyone is so kind and caring at all times.
