Not so good experiences when i went there
On my last and most recent visit, I went to them with a bleeding problem that the Nexplanon had caused that I hadn't experienced with the Depo that I was previously on. I was told by both women's health and adagio that I would have the same/similar side effects with the Implant as I had with the depo (Good for two months, then spotting the month my depo would be renewed) Since I had the Nexplanon inserted in August, I have been NON STOP bleeding to this day. I told them about this and they told me "I was informed this could happen and knew the risk" about 10 times, which makes you feel like a complete idiot for coming to them about the issue. While in the exam room, the nurse asked about how often the bleeding happened after I already made it clear I was dealing with it non stop every day for the past 6 months. She started asking questions that made it feel like she didn't believe me and that I was exaggerating the problem, asking how I've dealt with it if it's really that bad.
Got the Nexplanon from Adagio health in Clarion which resulted in several visits, the initial visit to set up an appointment, the actual implantation of Nexplanon, and then a follow up visit regarding problems I was having with the Nexplanon.
Regardless, I would NEVER recommend Adagio to anyone and have shared my experiences with other women who revealed they also had bad visits with rude workers there. I ran back to Franklin's Women Health with open arms, never to look back.
From the very first visit, I was treated very rudely. I was referred to them by Franklin's Women Health and while trying to explain that to the front desk, she blatantly told me "You can't just jump back and forth between health centers, if you're with them then we cannot do your birth control" Only when they found the appointment sheet that Franklin had faxed to them did I get the normal sweet front desk lady tone that most customers expect. The day of my appointment went a bit better, but the atmosphere there just isn't friendly. Asking them questions seems like such an annoyance to the staff.
I'm not sure if it was due to the fact that I am a young and very outgoing woman that I got treated this way, annoyance maybe?
Fast and courteous service. Highly recommend them for family planning services.
